📌 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) – these are research methods that help detect defects, cracks, or damage in infrastructure and structures without dismantling or destroying them. These technologies ensure the reliability of bridges, welds, tanks, railway components, and other critical structures.
📌 A new NDT Research Department has been established within the VIAMATIKA team, which will take on these tasks under the leadership of Tadas Fiodorovas, an expert in this field and a Level III NDT specialist. He brings extensive experience gained both in Lithuania and while managing large international projects.
📌 The new department will carry out visual inspections, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, leak testing, and radiographic testing, and will be able to assess the integrity and tightness of various infrastructure structures.
📌 All these methods will ensure the reliability of structures, equipment, and products in accordance with international standards.
VIAMATIKA’s vision is to become the leading NDT competence center in the region, and the establishment of this new department is a major step toward that goal.
